Shelf Life: 5 years or more if kept tightly closed. Absorbs carbon dioxide from the air.
Limewater: To make limewater, add 25 grams calcium hydroxide to one liter of freshly boiled distilled water. Shake well and place into a storage bottle. Allow to settle until liquid is completely clear (not cloudy). There will be undissolved solid at the bottom of the bottle. Decant the liquid without transferring the sediment to use.
